11/20 Pitch Day

Today you will pitch to me your idea for your 20 time project.

Monday we are off the races. We will have about 3 weeks to work on this so. I will need to be able to get updates from you as we work, so think of ways you can track your project and learning. I recommend a blog or wiki page.

20 Time Day 2

Today we will fill out this form. Follow the directions. Use the free write you did from yesterday to help you.

If you did not complete the brainstorm sheet from yesterday, do that first.

20 Time Project

Today we will begin our 20 time projects.

Here are the rules:

• Project must be something new to you and something you wouldn't do in another class.
• Must involve creating something
• Must have a language arts connection (writing, public speaking, etc.)
• If, at any moment, you feel lost, overwhelmed, or uninspired you must set a meeting with me to discuss solutions
• You must be flexible/open to changes or adjustments

So today you need to fill out this form.

If you need help coming up with an idea, here is a list of project ideas. You do not have to one off this list, it is just meant to help you come up with an idea. 

Your first grade will be your 60 second idea pitch. Please let me know when you are ready and we will schedule a time.

Today we will be doing a CNN Student News Response. When we finish, I would like for you to write a paragraph of analysis over one of the stories that stuck out to you.

Today is a reading day. Please complete the DOL, then update your pages read log for your reading today. I will see you all Monday. You letter will be due then. Monday will also be pay day.
